Trying again
Hello there!
Well here I am again. I am one of those dieters who always seems to have success while they diet, but then go right back to my old habits after the "diet" is over. I don't make the lifestyle changes that I need to make, and each time I gain more weight so there's that much more to lose the next time. I am at my all time highest weight right now. My life is good - I have a great guy that loves me, I have two great children, a job I enjoy. I volunteer at my kids school, and I have a fantastic group of friends. I honestly don't feel like my weight holds me back from anything, yet I know there are physical ailments lurking right around the corner if I don't make these changes! I am thisclose to forty and heart disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure are probably all hiding waiting for the perfect moment to jump out at me. So here we go again - this time for good! |
Congrats on trying to make a positive step in your life. It sounds like you have a lot of positive things going on in your life so that's great! I am just like you, just because I am bigger I don't let that hold me back from livin life..But I know I need to do this for my health, if not my happiness.
Best of luck to you!! |

Good to "see" you here. Browse down on the main forums page, and you'll see we have lots of different support groups and specialty groups. We have a number of folks who are over 300 and trying to improve their health, and I'm sure you'll find some inspiration and tips here. Good for you for realizing that it has to be a change AFTER you lose the weight. That's been a hard part for lots of us chicks and roosters. Cheers! Jay |
