Hi everyone! I found this board a few years ago but did not post or lose weight in meantime 

I have around 80 pounds to lose or something like that (around 40 kg) because in Europe we use metric measures so I am not sure, but whatever, I would not mind if I loose pounds or kilograms :carrot: :carrot:

I just wanted to introduce myself. I am almost 33 years old (Oh my God! When I got so old?) and realized that I will be dead soon so if I would like to lose weight I don’t have anything to wait anymore. Whole my youth I thought that I will become slimmer but I was just getting bigger and bigger, not slimmer. Now its enough. I would like to learn to except myself as I am and I know when I manage to do that then I will be able to lose weight. I hope that will be soon.

I am single, work at bank, sitting almost the whole day. Use to like biking and walking. My first goal is to move my double chin because I look really sickening with it. It should not be so hard because that is the first part of my body where I do lose weight.

The kilo/pound thing has always confused me. I'm English so naturally weigh in stones in pounds. As this is a largely American site I've converted that to straight pounds to make it more readily understandable. Kilos, I've never understood save to say that there's 2.2lbs in a kilo.

You won't be alone on the kilo front though as there's people from all over the world here. Which country are you in?
