Hi All! I'm new!
Hi everyone! I'm Jessica and I'm new to the forums. I've been visiting the site off and on for a few years but haven't done the forums before and am really in need of support as I'm doing my new diet so I thought I'd give it a try.
I'm 32, a housewife, living in San Diego right now but moving back home to the Northeast in July. I've always been fat; the last time I remember not being what I would call fat would be when I was maybe 10 or 11 but even then I was bigger than the other kids in school. I come from a pretty traditional Italian family when it comes to food. It's always there and there's always lots of it. I had most of my family saying "eat eat!" but then they'd say "you're so pretty...if only you'd lose some weight". Make up your mind! lol...but I dealt with that kind of mentality from my family my whole life. Always being told I should lose weight no matter what. I guess part of me was so disgusted that my family couldn't just love me like I was that I stopped listening to them.
I just started back on a diet last week...I'm doing Michael Thurmond's 6 Week Body Makeover (only lost 7lbs in the first week because I did cheat a few times)...but I'll be doing this more than 6 weeks, that's for sure...lol. I need to lose 125lbs or so. I did alternative lifestyle modeling when I was about 50lbs lighter than I am now (nothing kinky or anything like that, all clothed but with a darker look to it) and I want to be able to go back to doing that when I move back to CT in the summer. I have a friend who is a photographer and he started his own company a year or so ago and needs models and I'd like to work with him.
So anyway, I'll stop yapping but I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone and chatting with you all!
