Now for something completely different

  • Well not as dramatic, but I'm glad to be on this board, and on my way to loosing 10 lbs over the next 21 days!

    Here're my goals, feedback is always welcome.

    Goals:
    Wake up each weekday by 6.45AM.
    Weekend by 7.45AM.
    Workout in the morning!
    Read during the night!
    No Alcohol during the next 21 days!

    Your goals sound quite reasonable. What kind of workouts do you do?

    Not drinking alcohol will get rid of many empty calories--good for you.

  • Hey Mintu, welcome to 3FC! I think it's great that you want to get into shape, but I think your goals are a little optimistic. 10 pounds in 3 weeks means you have to lose almost a half pound a day, and that probably won't happen too easily!

    I think your goals sound very healthy and achievable

    Cutting out the alcohol will prevent those 'slips' that might occur in a warm, fuzzy 'munchie moment'!

    I'm pumped by the enthusiasm on this site, if I'd like to revise my goals though a little, since I had a slip (woke up late) today.

    Wake up by 7.00 AM
    Work out 7.15- 8AM
    Get to work by 9 AM
    Get to sleep by 11.30 PM
    Loose 8-10 lbs in the next 3 weeks.

    Hopefully those are more dooable.
