Getting Healthier, starting TODAY!

  • Hello everyone!

    Its time for me to stop this beast before it gets out of hand.. and it already has!! I have gained almost 20 pounds in just a year!! And its time for me to loose it!!

    My fiance and I did the ol cupboard purge yesterday... and have begun our journey back to our healthy weights.

    We're not doing any specific diet per-say.... just low-fat for the most part... whole wheat based carbs in the early day tapering off with only meat and veg in the evening. Lots and lots of fish. =D Borrowing a bit from Sonoma diet here and there... and a bit of traditional Japanese fare as well.... exercise will be based on the Body for Life program (alternating cardio and weight training)

    We'll be getting married in December... and I plan to have every ounce of it gone looong before then!

    Congratulations to you and your fiance for nipping it in the bud and getting yourselves back on track!

    It sounds like you have a good plan and are headed in a good direction. There are so many places on this site to look, so take your time and check out as many as you can! There's LOTS of inspiration to be found here!
