Hi! I am new!

Hello!

I am new to this forum! I posted in the mini goal thread but I will post it here as well. I started getting really serious about losing weight February 2006. Since then I have lost 27 lbs and I want to lose 28 more. It has been really a tough year and I am a little upset that I haven't met my goal weight as of yet so I am kicking it up a notch! My plan is to eat 1300 calories a day and work out everyday including cardio and weight training-no matter what!

Just wanted to say hi!

Hey, AllyCat30, :wel3fc:

I work out almost every day, mostly aerobic machines but also some weight training work. And I keep my intake around 1300, perhaps a little more. Have you checked how many calories you need to eat per day for your height, age, weight, activity, etc.? That helps.

I've been following this program without deviation since the end of November, when I was at 186, and as you can see, I've made progress. You can too!

Jay

That is awesome! Good job! :)

I woke up this morning and weighted myself and I have lost 2 lbs! I'm not sure if that is good or not- or perhaps it is just water? Either way I am motivated! I came to 1300 a day from figuring 14 calories a pound to maintain my weight (2276.4) minus 1000 to lose 2 lbs a week (1276.4) although I will probably eat more like 1300-1350 and burn of the difference with exercise.

All this math makes my brain hurt. :dizzy:

I just weighed myself this morning and I have lost 2 lbs! *gasp*

I'm not sure if it is water weight or actual fat that has removed itself from my body. Either way, I am excited!
