I'm a little scared
 

hi to all, I just turned 24 and was just diagnosed yesterday with this disease PCOS. and I'm leaving the US in four days. I am very very very scared because I don't know what this means and what I should expect. Will I eventually get cancer and die? Can someone please help me. I have no one to talk to right now. I can't tell my mother how I feel because I'll worry her and since I'm gonna be gone out of the country for close to a year, it would just worry her even more. I thank GOd I found this forum. Please help me. And if possible, please put my mind at ease.

:wel3fc: You have come to the right place for support and information. We have a thriving PCOS group at 3FC and I was going to give you a link to that forum, but I see you've already found it . . . Hopefully you will get some valuable information over there.

BTW, it is not a good idea to post your e:mail address in the open forum because you just never know what lurkers might be hiding out and you could receive unwanted attnetion as well as the kind you'd like to have . . . don't mean to scare you, but just wanted to give you a little caution.
