Lurker turned newbie
 

Hi all,
Just wanted to introduce myself. I've been lurking around the forum for more than a year, and for some reason now seemed like a good time to chime in.

My high weight was 4 1/2 years ago. My weight loss pretty much stopped 2 1/2 years ago; since then I've been up and down within the same 10lb range.

I'm in the middle of another one of those moments where the frustration, exasperation and desperation are creating a perfect storm that make me feel like, "no matter what it takes, i am done being this size."

Not a single one of my friends or family members has a weight problem, so I guess I'm here to be in the company of others who are on the same path as me. -K8

K8, thanks for posting! Yeah, sounds like you want to change the weight!

You're right--we all know how it feels to finally want to change for good. Congratulations on the weight you lost, though! You should feel good about that! Stick with a program and you will get the results you want.

Welcome out of lurkdom! Congratulations on the progress you've already made with your weight loss. It is hard to achieve success without a good support system and those who have never had to worry about their weight really dont understand the difficulties involved so I'm glad you're looking here to find some help. You can get that clothing size to change and it sounds like you're at the point for something to happen so good luck.
