Scales

  • I hate scales. The scale I have is a waist high slider type. It's been in the garage for at least the last 5 years. My daughter jumped on it and said it was about 2 lbs heavy. I'll give it a cleaning today, maybe a little lubrication on the slider. I placed my body on it today and showed I had lost 4 lbs since the last time I was weighed at the Drs.
  • Woooohoooo for You!
Congratulations for being on the downhill slide!

I have an itty bitty slide since 3/1/07, down 1.5 lbs.; IF it (the loss) stays with me through Sunday, then I will BELIEVE it is gone. However, it has been a long time since the needle on the scale has been on the sunnyside of 150, so I'll take whatever victories I can get!

Have a good day. It's sunny here and 33 degrees. Spring is coming...ok, in several weeks, but it IS coming.
  • And, ya never know...
the dirt on the scale might be good for another pound...if you can find a few mice carcasses, then maybe another 1/2 pound!

I find any mice-dead or alive, and we're moving!!!!
  • Ha, Chortle, Chortle, Guffaw, Snort...
Guess you won't ever be a country girl after all! Mice are a way of life out here in the sticks! Something about having 100,000 bushels of grain stored I think... They make it to the garage sometimes, but with the poison and traps I have out, they never make it to the house. It is a BOY job to dispose of the carcasses! I won't even begin to tell you what they (the boys) do with some of the dead stuff they find or shoot...
