Newbie

  • I am very new at all of this. I think I just posted my introduction under someone else's introdution. Anyway, I'll do it right this time. After a huge cross-country move from AZ to ME, I am slowly but surely gaining back the 100 pounds I had lost before the move. When I had my daughter, I weighed 286. Took me two years, but my I lost 106 pounds. I felt so good about myself, even though I hadn't reached my goal. 180 - WOW. That is the lowest I had weighed since...... can't even remember. When I moved to Maine, I quit working out AND I started smoking again. I completely lost my motivation- being concerned with everything else. I now weigh 232. Talk about a wake up call. I have been reading all of the posts and it is all very inspiring. I want to start working toward being healthy and happy again. Since I gained the weight back, I think about one thing. Constantly on my mind. I don't like what I have become - Fat and Unhappy. Today is a new day!

    You are just 32 pounds from ONEderland (under 200 lbs.) That's less weight than I needed to lose to get there, so you are ahead of MY game! Take it a bit at a time, and before you know it, you'll be right where you want to be!

  • Thanks for your support. I can't wait until I break 200lbs. Will be such a great accomplishment. My goal is only about 1-2 lbs a week. If I do more than that, Kudos for me! I slowly put it back on, I will slowly and steadily take it back off.
