Hi. I'm new to the forum, having finally commited to making a change. I have two children, a teenager and a pre-teen. While pregnant with my youngest child, I topped out at 199 lbs. Within a year of her birth I was back to my original weight of 140 (I'm 5'8"). Somehow (well, not really somehow, as I do know how) I now weigh more than ever -- 215 lbs.
I am definitely an emotional eater -- happy, sad, heck, even when I'm neutral I love to eat.
I need another focus in my life and I am firm about making a change. I want to be healthier.
I do exercise -- I walk 2 - 4 miles almost daily. I know I'll need to step it up.
Sorry for the rambling. Just wanted to say "hello" and tell you how much I look forward to being a part of this community.
