Greetings, all!

I am a mom of four in Arizona, and last night I read Meg's story and viewed her before and after photos, and it totally motivated me to get up and move! I'm not sure where to post on this forum to start, but I'd love a seasoned "been there, done that" to take me under their wing, and give me some encouragement! This place seems very down to earth, very real and very supportive.

Actually, encouragement from just about anyone is welcome.... especially if you've failed a hundred times before as I have. Maybe this will be my one time weight loss attempt that is NOT a failure.

Good luck meeting your goals everyone! Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself, and not be a lurker anymore! Feel free to say hello anytime...

I'm the original one 'who failed a thousand times' ... but I tried a thousand and one times and the last time is the one that worked. :)

Take a look around, read some of the various forums, and see where you might feel comfortable. Then just jump in and post!

By the way, I love Arizona! DH and I have been to Phoenix, Tucson, and spent a week traveling around northern AZ last fall. We're dreaming of retiring to the Southwest ... someday! :D

What Meg said. We've all tried countless times, but this is the time that has stuck for me (of course, I'm still losing but Meg is maintaining fabulously and I hope to do HALF as well when I get there).

Welcome! Congrats for coming out of lurker mode! You'll find lots of support here, so settle in and start posting!

I noticed several "lurkers" that viewed my into post but did not introduce themselves <wink> but look forward to meeting everyone and supporting wherever I can.

So you're getting married..! You must be so excited! I like your mini-goal idea.... I assume it feels more achievable and therefore easier to accomplish. Keep up the good work, and keep in touch.
