Looking for a buddy!
 
Hello All!
My name is Marianne and I am in Arizona...
I am new to the site as well and I have posted a few times, but I am ready now to get moving on this!
I am looking for a buddy to work alongside me in my journey, someone who I feel is like me. I have 36-40 lbs to lose to reach what doctors call my ideal weight. I enjoy walking, yoga, kickboxing, swimming and (to my detriment) eating chocolate!
Please let me know if you are interested in becoming accountable together! I am stoked to be here and get going!

Hey there! Glad you are here. I'm a newbie too. I need to loose about 60 I guess to be at my "fighting weight". I would love to be your buddy! I haven't had much luck in the past at losing and now it's more difficult than ever for me. I am home alone a lot because my husband's work takes him away from the home (going on 2 months now). So I'm bummed and sit and eat. Baaaad for me! I also live in a new town with no friends. I have a sit on my butt kinda job too. It all adds up to extra pounds. So having a buddy to keep me in check would be great!:dizzy:

Okay. I need someone who can keep me in check with a positive attitude. I get down on myself a lot and it gets really frustrating and depressing. Know what I mean? I'm not high maintenance, or anything... ;) just need to keep upbeat about this!

I want to check in every day with my buddy to let her know how I am doing! Can we start today?

Defintely check in daily. How do we want to do this? On a thread? I'm not too technical so I hope you know the best way to keep track of this! :D
I had a Dr's appointment today and weighed 3 pounds less today than on Tuesday. Then I went home and ate a bbq chicken pizza. :?: ooops!

You got your work cut out for ya with me! Other than the pizza slip up I've been trying to eat most of my calories from fruits and veggies. Only meat I've been eating is fish and chicken. I did buy some ground turkey today. Have no idea what to do with it but ive heard its better for you than beef.

What kinda game plan do you got for yourself so I can help ya out?
