I am new and nervous

  • Hello, I have been lurking around in the shadows for a bit and reading. I find it very supportive. I am looking to lose a lot of weight. I had a gastric bypass in 99 and lost 100 lbs but have put back on 32 lbs since then. I need to get that off and then some. Anyhow, thanks for listening to me ramble a bit.
  • Feeling very anxious since this is going to be my first exercise day of walking. I have got to start some where.

    Hi. I hope your first day of walking went well. Walking is so important. Since January 1 my goal has been to walk at least 6 days per week. I would like to walk everyday, but when I have night class in graduate school there just isn't the time on those days. So, since January 1 I have walked 23 out of 25 days so I don't think that's too bad. It was hard at first, but it is geting easier. I usually walk for about 25 minutes which is 1.2 miles.
