New to site
After lurking around for a few weeks, I took the plunge and signed in.
The experience that is shared and information in here looks really good. Being a male, I am a minority here. However, I know I am not the only one. I have lost 40 pounds since May '06 on Body for Life, so my diet plan is healthy foods and lots of exercise. Only one major relapse in that time, but it was planned for the month of December (Christmas, big convention for work, vacation, etc.) That month set me back 8 pounds that I am 1/2 through re-losing. I would probably be at my goal if it weren't for that - it doesn't seem worth it now. I look forward to reading and asking questions in the Maintainers section to prepare me for what happens after I get to goal of 172 (set to get me out of the "overweight" on BMI). |
:welcome: to 3FC! I did BFL for a while. I liked it, but I had a hard time measuring my food. You wouldn't believe how much my hands grew at dinner prep time! :lol: Another forum that might interest you is LWL - Ladies (and Gents) Who Lift. It's full of BFLers and freestyle weight lifters.
