Longtime Lurker
 

Hey Everyone!

It is so weird that I am just now introducing myself to you all... I have been one of those infamous lurkers that people have been posting about lately. ;) I thought it was about time that I jumped in here and just maybe it would give me the incentive and drive that I need to lose my last 20 or so pounds that I have been struggling with for such a long time.

I guess the basics are where you should start, huh? I'm 36 years old...female...married to a gorgeous wonderful man for about 16 years and one beautiful teen age daughter.

I started seriously losing weight in 2001 and over that time, got down to about 153 but have recently regained slightly due to a move and a knee injury. I am hoping to turn that around by being here.

I feel like I already know so many of you...I look forward to contributing and helping everyone get to know me!

Thanks for the welcome! I appreciate it, like I said, I have been lurking here for a reeeeaallly long time, so I know what a great place it is, I am not sure why I haven't made myself known sooner... I just really figured it was time to jump in and commit to getting the last of this weight off and I thought being more "accountable" might do the trick really. I don't have alot of people to talk to about weight loss...I don't want to bore my family to tears and friends...well...the ones that I have either don't have a problem with weight or get a little jealous of my loss even though it has been done over the course of YEARS! :?:

Anyway! Nice to meet you! We look like we started pretty close to the same place! Same height and everything! I know what it is like! Thanks again....

No need to lurk! We want to hear from you! Jump in wherever you feel comfortable. We started in very different places, but it doesn't matter...I'm glad you started posting!

I saw your post after I finished muddling around with the weight tracker! You're right, we all do start from different places...it is the journey itself that matters. And, I don't plan to be a lurker any longer...in fact everybody is probably going to start groaning..."her AGAIN!!!" :D
