Chubby Newbie

  • Howdy y'all,
    Just joined 3FC! I have just embarked on turning the new leaf of health and fitness with my hubby of 1 year. We are both really dying in this heat (sydney, australia) and needing to fit comfortably into some airline seats this june. (why the heck are they so small????) We both have memberships to the gym and are going pretty much every day for the past two weeks, can already see results and I am CHUFFED! I just wanted to say how great it is to see people who started out the same weight as me and have lost like 50kg... its a great inspiration so thank you.

    Thanks Brandy and MissieA for the encouragement! I only now have the ambition cause i'm still eatin naughty food like the ham and cheese toast I had this morning... GAH!!! But also, my husband has type 2 diabetes and if I don't make the effort neither will he... so I see it as an obligation now rather than something good to do for me. which is a good thing for both of us cause we're both wombats!!!

    Missie, if you made going to the gym everyday as normal as say.. going to work or doing something that you always do by obligation it just becomes part of your lifestyle. If I can do it, You can do it!! C'mon hup, hup, hup!!!

  • hi! great job hitting the gym daily! i never thought i would be "the gym type" but i am. i love going, i love the people, the smell of the new equipment, the way i feel after working out. love it all!!

  • hehehe... I am SO not the gym type either, I wish I loved it like you do!!! Where I work out the only smell is B.O. haha. Yeah its good!! I've only been going for about 2 weeks solidly every day though. I go on my lunch break which really helps slide into my schedule!! Thanks for the motivation girl, I needed that
