Hi! I'm Tracy from TN. I'm new to this site, too. Like many of you guys, I've spent my life on the weight loss yo-yo. I decided last week that it's time to make a permanent change in my life, so here I am. I am 31 years old and the mother of 2 small children. My daughter is 6 years old and is a beautiful, wonderful and intelligent girl, however my one of my greatest fears is that she is fighting her genetics. I can't stand the thought of her having to grow up experiencing the things I did growing up overweight. So... It's time to set the example she needs of a healthy lifestyle. This is the first time in 2 1/2 years (since my son was born) that I have tried to regain control of my eating and exercising. I have to do this for my whole family. I hope that this site will provide some much needed support and encouragement as I start this journey AGAIN. I look forward to chatting with you all and hearing your stories.
THanks
Tracy

Hi Tracy... welcome to a very supportive site. If you ever need extra motivation, look at the goals forum to truly see how far some have come. The before and after pics are so inspiring! Good luck to you!
As for my history, I have always been fuller figured, except for a short time after high school when I had no money to eat (ha ha). After having four kids and not enough time for myself my weight has skyrocketed to an embarassing 248. My last baby was born 11/18/2005 and I am sooo ready to get on the ball and get in shape. Glad I signed on today, I find some strength in numbers. BTW my name is Hollie.
