A newbie from Seattle
Hello Everyone!! I just wanted to introduce myself, it's only fair! LOL I'm 25 year old girl here, my name is Trang, but T will work just fine, who is looking for a great support group online. My boyfriend is great and all, but I just want to be with people who are going through what I am. About 4 months ago, my Dr. listed Obese on my chart, and after that, I told myself that I needed to get on track. That and she put HTN, hypertension!!! Though since then, it is under control. So here I am 2007, and I'm ready to change my life. I also will be doing the Fat Smash Diet, I loved what Dr. Ian Smith was preaching, and its really has a no nonsense straight forward approach. I have a Family reunion (boyfriend's) to go to in August, and also I promised myself that I needed to do this. And another great incentive is that my mom will be buying me a pretty nice designer dress. LOL!! I put a goal of 55 lbs, not by August, but who knows, if I do great, if I don't then that's ok. This is more like a long term one, but once I get closer, I will see if I need to go anymore. People don't believe that I'm close to 200, but I 'm pretty good at hiding it, and being ahem "top heavy" helps! Well sorry for blabbing too much. They think I'm joking. And my boyfriend bless his heart, but he says I look fine! Ha, I wish I could see it! Oh well. thanks for reading and know that I will be here to support all of you guys too!!! We can do it!!! ;) PS: I haven't started the diet, but lost weight in between my dr.'s visit!!! And they have a pretty darn accurate scale. I will be starting after the 27th!! My brother leaves for Cali, so I can refocus! |

They have great support groups here and everybody here is treated with respect! I wish you the best of luck during your journey, but we'll be right here beside you cheering you on! Thanks for the welcome guys!!! I so look forward to starting this journey. Though I plan on working out everyday till I start and during of course! Meanwhile I'm planning out my grocery list, my menus, and making a new food journal. And yay I found someone from Seattle too!! It's nice to know that people from from my town are here~:carrot: |
