Hello I'm New...
Hello everyone. My name is Kristy. I am 25 years old and I am from Georgia.
I started becoming over weight when I was in Highschool Starting around ninth grade. I gained and gained every day it seemed like. I was my biggest size in 2001 and 2002 as a size 22. I got tired of not being able to find some cute clothes and also my health took a nice plumet. I became diabetic and on insulin. Well around 2004 my mom bought us an Ab-Lounger and I got on it and started off with just 100 crunches a day and I lost weight. Down to a size 18. Then I stopped. Again I got frustrated and I got back on it and was up to 1000 a day. 500 in the morning and 500 in the evening. Which got me down to a size 16. I only stopped when I became engaged and got busy with planning a wedding. Back in August the week before my bridal shower, my fiance dumped me and so I lost all intrest. I was a size 14 and thought that's what I wanted to be. I was at 185 pounds according to the hospital where I had started doing a paitent study program. In October, I started walking where I worked which is the mall. I walked 4 laps on the second level out in the main area. Every lap is 1/2 mile. And I got back on the ab-lounger. I went again to the hospital for my check up and found I had lost 10 pounds since I had last been there. Now...I still walk my two miles when I'm at work (and then some because I work at JC Penney's) and I do my 200 crunches. Well when New Year's rolled around I decided that I wanted my resolution to be to lose 25 pounds by the summer time by increasing my count of crunches by a 100/week and to continue to do my two miles. Well this is all I have for now. Didn't mean to go on and on about myself. Kristy |
Hi! I am also new. I just registered today as a matter of fact. My name is Mary and I am 34 yrs. old. It looks as if we may be around the same size and height. Well I do weigh more. I'm at 203.5 and am starting to exercise. I love your ab lounger idea! Any ideas, suggestion that has been working for you would be really appreciated!
I currently go from a sz 14 to 16. I'd love to be a sz 9/10 again. That is where my goal is. |
If you don't have an ablounger purchase one. That's all I really did was crunches for the first two years. Now I added walking two miles. I first started out getting two miles done in 35 minutes now its averaging between 32-33 minutes...I work in a big mall
