New peson here!
Hi Everyone!
I've lurked here on and off for a while but just got motivated enough to join. I'm hoping to lose 40 pounds over the next year. About me...I'm a vegan and trying very hard to cut all the junk out of my diet. I'm planning to do a 21-day raw food challenge in January to jump start my weight loss. I'm pretty good about journaling but I tend to forget to exercise, and I'm the type that needs to work extra hard in order to lose even the smallest bit of weight. So...I'm hoping to find like-minded buddies here who can motivate me and in return I'll try do the same. Happy New Year! Julie :carrot: |
:hug: hello I just joined yesterday also.welcome.Good luck on weightloss .I have 52 lbs to lose over the next year..really really feeling it this year i took a year off due to back injury I had lost 105 lbs but put 27 back on..so now back to losing 52 but I know I can do it....continue my 82 lbs lost so far.

new and confused
hello.
i have just decided to join after stumbling on this site from a google search of eating disorders. i am a compulsive eater. i went strait down the row of symptoms for this disorder and fit every one of them. i eat in secret. i catch myself feeling embarassed of myself and find that i'll hide a dish or a wrapper under my bed when my roommate comes into my room. i feel this will stop when i am no longer ashamed of how i look. this will only come from direct action on my part. from this site i hope to find encouragement, but most importantly, advice, and information. any guidance about how to navigate this site more efficiently would be most helpful. |
