My son woke us up at 4am, didn't really sleep well after and my eating/hunger schedule has been off all day! Had to get a 2nd snack...

Doing Ideal Protein with alternative products as I want clean ingredients as compared to ingredients in the packets.

Breakfast
Protein Cake

Recipe as follows…
175g SunWarrior High Performance Chocolate Protein Powder (7 cakes)
1 tsp baking powder
salt to preference
2 eggs
Add water while beating to get a cake batter consistency
Spoon 7 mounds on parchment paper covered cookie sheet at 360 for 17 minutes
Cool and store in fridge
Note: This is the cleanest protein powder - awesome ingredients.


Lunch
Protein soup

Recipe as follows…
Makes 8 servings
64 oz Chicken Stock
Minced Garlic
Minced Onion
Poultry seasoning
Add in vegetables- perfect for Costco frozen vegetables
Bring to boil

Measure 8 oz liquid in bowl and then add 1-2 c vegetables (broccoli)
mix in one scoop Grass Fed Whey Protein Isolate
(Note: I add protein as I make each serving so protein doesn’t degrade)

Snack
Use protein powder above as hot chocolate or pudding by simply adding water and salt

Dinner
Turkey sandwich for first week
Organic Turkey from Costco
Unbun bread from Whole Foods (because I don’t do restricted or packets this fits overall IP macros)
Vegetables- either steamed cauliflower, broiled asparagus or broiled zucchini

I also made Janeva’s Sausage Zucchini Lasagna and had that for dinner yesterday

That's awesome to clean up ingredients - I also struggle with that internally, since I am using "Alternatives products", but not like you, and I know that those are about the same wrt extra stuff. I had some Walden Farms products, but switched over to the G. Hughes versions, those still aren't perfect - but the ingredient list is a lot less. It takes extra effort, so kudos to you - I admit I'm lazy...I may piggyback off of your ideas!

I have Janeva's cookbook! I'll have to check out that recipe, I've used zucchini as pasta several times but usually just as zoodles.

I totally recommend making the lasagna recipe. It is outstanding.

I really recommend switching to the cleaner products. Itís cheaper as well as these arenít in packets so while those are cheaper than IP, if you buy the protein powder in bulk then itís even cheaper and healthier.
