I'm getting started again. This is such an effective diet; looking forward to the results. I noticed the activity on 3FC is minimal, hope it picks up. The conversations here are so supportive. |
I'm just starting up as well. I have a lot of baby weight to lose and I found this site super helpful when I lost my baby weight last time (4 yrs ago)

I've been on the diet for 6 days, feeling good about being mostly good, lost some pounds and feel better already. For my sanity and not getting annoyed/frustrated when the scale doesn't move, I try to focus on the long term. So my thoughts are if I can do this till New Year's, I will feel great, be much healthier (blood sugar, triglycerides, etc) and look much better.

Glad to see a few familiar names from the past -- I am in a reboot and trying to use alternatives and IP foods to get started, then just alternatives probably.
Most of the action we used to see here seems to have moved to Facebook groups -- there are several, including at least one that focuses on using alternative products. This is a good time to get back on track -- see what I can accomplish by calendar year end - hopefully at least 25 lbs. Glad to have company! |

I just put my bio in the 300+ thread. Looking to recreate Matol with Ideal Protein / Proti Diet foods. Day 3! Long way to go. I need to lose around 200lbs *whimper* Keto doesn't work for me. Just calorie counting doesn't work for me. Time to get mindfully drastic and do what's worked for me before. Looking for some support and accountability, if it's around! |

<raises hand> - this damn quarantine nearly broke me but I'm back again! It's good to know this place is always here for judgement free support. I was on the Facebook group last time and it was pretty harsh.

I started back again too!
100%! I lost 107 pounds in the past but had various surgeries and then Covid and working in a hospital as an admin asst have all been stressful! Gotta close that Pandora's box and eat cleaner. I and We can do this!
I was here many years ago before Facebook but have deleted that. Need a place to get advice in between Coach visits. Thanks! |

I am back as well started last Monday. Looking to loose the minimally 45 pounds. Promised myself I wouldn’t gain it back but here I am. No excuses I am accepting it and now working on getting healthy again so glad this forum is still here |

Well, I had a terrible week here in Texas. We were snowed in the whole time, couldn't drive anywhere, no school, but at least we had power and water. Needless to say with no veggies and I ran out of packets (expecting shipment soon!) I couldn't make many IP compliant meals, but it's all melted away so I'm starting again!

I am planning on starting back in a few weeks. It worked for me a few years ago. During Covid I have reached my highest weight Ever! Looking forward to seeing new posts here. 3 Fat Chicks has always been my favorite!

It's been a while since I was on this forum. Glad to see people still kicking around. My biggest accomplishment in the past 9 months is losing 35 pounds and dropping my average daily blood sugar fingersticks from over 320 (a dangerous level) to 125 (near normal). I still have a lot of weight to lose but trying to look at it in 10 pound increments.

going on to week 4 soon, it has been slow but steady loss. This week however it is really slow. I seem to remember from the first time that this is common for week 3, does anyone remember that as well? Not quite sure where I am going wrong Also I know we don’t have to follow our macros but does anyone know what they are suppose to be on the new protocol (2020) Have a nice day |

Hi everybody, it's good to see some of my old 3FC IP friends again! Hopefully everyone is staying safe from Covid. I've had my shot at the end of January as I am designated caregiver/visitor for my folks in their senior home. As with a lot of people, I've gained a bit back over this past year, but am losing it again. I'm now 17 lbs from my original goal weight (from 2013/14) so really in the whole scheme of things, not too shabby. I just lost my attention to my food and drink while dealing with other more important issues. Too easy to snack on tortilla chips and cheese with a lovely glass of wine or three late in the evenings....never a good idea to eat that late in the day anyhow. I'll be checking back on 3FC a bit more often as I do miss this community and the compadres I have here.

i restarted Monday. i lost 35 on this diet in 2013, i know it works very well. I maintained with a better diet and exercise . i have done an occasional reboot for 10-15bls over the years. I had no discipline the last couple years and put on 25. Now back at it . First week was fast and easy, not for the slow part.
