Default Need Help With Conversion Rate of Raw Meat/Fish vs. Cooked Meat/Fish

Hi there. I am in the process of doing the Ideal Protein diet and have a question about the conversion rate for raw meat/fish to cooked meat/fish. According to my IP plan, I should measure 8oz of raw protein for my dinner, but what if I'm already dealing with something cooked? I know that cooked protein will generally weigh less than its raw counterpart, so I'm wondering if there is some general rule of thumb to follow for converting the cooked amount so that I know that it is equivalent to an 8oz raw weight. For example, I'm planning to use cooked jumbo lump crabmeat in a recipe, so how much of the cooked crabmeat would equate to 8oz of raw crabmeat? Thanks.
