Supplements?

What supplements are required during IP? What is each one for? Are they mandatory or optional?

We have an IP file with all the supplements, detailed dosages, etc. Also a file with vetted alternative examples if not buying IP versions.

Supplements are essential as you are on a very restricted diet. You DON'T want to get deficiencies. But it isn't essential to use the special IP supplements - I couldn't because they could not guarantee that they were gluten free (I have Celiac disease). You can substitute brands.

My coach told me that I should only buy supplements from ideal, but I bought replacements for 1/2 the price on Amazon. I would definitely recommend taking supplements because of the limited nature of the diet
