April 27th start with an August goal

Hi all,
Just starting, and working with a limited amount of product. Ordered enough for 3 months to get me comfortable with the program. Have a goal of 30 lbs by August with confidence I'll make it. Need to lose double that, but want a mid-term, tangible goal for my self.
Worst time - NIGHT TIME!!
any hints, I'll take them :D

About me - I'm a single mom, who adopted from Latin America. She is in her early teens now (wow that wasn't on the label!!) I was slightly over weight, at 180, 5.6, but athletic and active. Now, 50 lbs heavier... how did that happen!! I want to lose more than I gained. Hope that isn't over ambitious. Pre-diabetic (that snuck up too!)
happy to be here!

Welcome BarbieBoston!
I'm not exactly new here but don't post a lot (until just recently). I wanted to start back on IP four months ago and bought food but didn't loose any weight because I couldn't stay on the program. I could eat clean at work but would binge on the weekend. I'm now on day 7 of clean eating and really taking it day-by-day right now. So it is difficult for me to give anyone advice - except for starting over sucks - so stick to the plan. Afternoons and evenings are difficult for me (because I love to snack) so I have been drinking a lot of ice tea (peach, mango, green, earl grey) which helps. I've also been brain-washing myself this time around telling myself that this is easy (60 days)and trying to make this a totally positive time (instead of generating negative thoughts like "I can't" and "I'm sick of living by rules/restrictions." I'm also trying to only eat packets and/or food that I enjoy (so I'm not suffering through a packet or meal) to feel like I'm living and not so deprived. My first time on IP in 2011 I had the same shakes/meals everyday with little variation. This time I'm trying new things and experimenting with new veggies. I also bought the Veggetti from Bed, Bath, and Beyond -to make zucchini pasta - yum. Staying positive is key for me because I can quickly go south on this thing. Keep writing about your progress.

Your tactics look like a good approach to me - don't worry about giving advice - check in regularly and let us know how you are doing. We are all in this together ya know!!!

You can do it!!

Hi everyone. I'm staying strong and on day 9 of eating clean (or OP). I'm feeling more of the high of ketosis today which is real nice. I also worked out today at the gym which elevates my mood. I know we are not supposed to workout on this diet but I have a good personal trainer right now (long story) and I need some tone again after two years of being a workaholic (and sitting 10 hours a day). How is everyone doing? How is your appetite? I'm not as hungry today. Thanks for all of you that are posting because it is fun to read.
