Combining Proteins at Dinner

I am new to this forum and to Ideal Protein. Can I have boiled egg on my salad and steak also. How do I calculate the oz's of steak if I also eat an egg with dinner?

An egg is 2 oz of protein so you can have that plus 6 oz of steak.
