Hi all,

The holidays dragged on and 15 pounds hopped on :P. Just finished my 1st week of phase 1. I have decided not to get focus in on the scale, but to let my clothes become the guide. I am going to stay on Phase 1 through the middle of March. I feel so much better already!

Wishing you all a great OP day.

Hi Joysh and Jo!

If you are having a problem with not getting enough food, you could try the P1 Alternative (diabetic) Protocol. It adds a slightly larger range of foods and worked for me when I got ill from not having enough food to fuel me on reg P1.
There's a link to a protocol sheet for this on one of the other IP threads. Sorry I don't remember which one.

Day 3 of reboot. So far, so good. Hoping this will be my last time. I know it works and if I stick to it fast. But this time lots of stress in my life. Hope I can sustain.

You CAN do it...step by step. Don't punish yourself if you have a slip up..just start again with the next meal and go from there. try to do a little 10 minute meditation each day if you can...just quietly breathing and being aware of you and your surroundings...helps reduce stress and keeps you focused on your goals.

Forgot to post last Tuesday which was end of WK 2 reboot...down 11 pounds! yipee... (reboot weight starting was 225). Planning on staying on Phase 1 until June or July so hopefully I'll be back down to 160's...slowly over the summer I will work toward my DREAM goal of 145...I am 5/7 and that is a weight that works for me...any thinner and I look gaunt.
Day by day.

I'm rebooting again. I lost 55 pounds in the summer/fall of 2010 and gained 20 or so back. I went through a divorce in 2012 and although that helped keep the weight off for a while (LOL), I got comfortable and let everything slip. So I'm back. I NEED this site. I NEED to read and realize that I'm not alone and it really helps me obsess, which is what I have to do to stick with it. So, thanks, everyone!

Amylew, you are not alone. I am with you, it takes an intense focus for me to work this program. Plus, people in "real" life really do not want to talk about IP Life.

I understan what your saying...
Some people have o interest in IP or believe it works.. But it does. I had someone what so, what how much did you lose like 30-40 lbs...!!! I had lost 80!! Big difference and yes you could tell. Others were nice and complimented me then again those who never ever said a word and believe me it was quite obvious I had dropped 80 pounds.. A few girlfriends asked if I was sick ;(... at any rate we need to lose for us and whatever works for us is best. I had full bloodwork done after my loss and I was completely healthy.
Yes I am now on reboot but only because of me and my poor eating choices.. Not bc IP doesn t work.
Hang in there!!!

We all have our own journey's and you are right, people not on IP do not understand IP.

I am coming into the final stretch of my reboot and will hopefully start phasing off in the next week or 2. Thank goodness because, mentally, I am DONE with P1.

Good evening all,
So, had my second WI today, down 3.8lbs first week was 9.4.for a grand total of about 13lbs down! Still a long way to go, but every journey starts with a step. (or something like that) It's been crazy busy at work and life, but I wanted to come here and read how everyone was doing and share my success.
I wish everyone an amazing day. All the best.

Congrats Addy!!!
Have a slow week myself ...a "stuck"week as I call it...but I can't complain bc the first 2 I lost 11 lbs...and it was TOM also...running off to get a mammy grammy this morning..ugh..so not fun, but so important. my grandmother and father had/have breast cancer...being overweight is a def. factor in breast cancer, another big reason I want to get back to a healthy weight.
Happy Friday ladies...Enjoy the weekend...maybe a nice walk outside if it isn't too snowy where you live!

Hello hello. I haven't posted in awhile, but I'm back to reboot! I lost 62 lbs and 6 pants sizes over 7 months in 2014. Slowly the pounds have crept back on over the last year. I'm still 30 pounds down from my heaviest, and I'm still fitting into my size 10s by some miracle but they have probably stretched out to 12s or so. Time to nip this in the bud.

I'm going to use alternatives this time around. I don't have time to go to a clinic and I can't justify the cost of expensive food right now. I'm going to Paris for 10 day in April where I fully plan to indulge. I just feel like I need to stop Gaining any more and making this worse. I will pick up and get right back on after the trip.

My biggest challenge will be stress. I am going to be starting a new job March 14 very different from what I do now. I know ip will help me get a much needed sense of control back over my life.
