Hi Pishposh,

Nice to hear from you. I am rebooting to lose 20. Down 4 so far. Being OP does bring back a sense of control. Exciting news about your new job and trip. I am headed to Italy in June, great motivation to get in top form!
Prices on IP foods are even higher now, so alternatives seem to be the way to go. Wishing you luck.

Any of you exercising? I started taking a 20 min. walk on my treadmill...bowled on sat. and walked sun and today. Makes me start out the day on the right foot. I need to be careful not to do too much but I like the way my muscles feel and my general overall health if I do "something". Any exercises you do that you find fun and effective while OP?

I'm rebooting again. I lost 55 pounds in the summer/fall of 2010 and gained 20 or so back. I went through a divorce in 2012 and although that helped keep the weight off for a while (LOL), I got comfortable and let everything slip. So I'm back. I NEED this site. I NEED to read and realize that I'm not alone and it really helps me obsess, which is what I have to do to stick with it. So, thanks, everyone!

I am coming into the final stretch of my reboot and will hopefully start phasing off in the next week or 2. Thank goodness because, mentally, I am DONE with P1. :)

Hi ladies, I recognized your names from 2010/2011. I am back too. I originally lost 80 and maintained most of that for 4 years and then the last year the pounds came on...I am up about 43 pounds. I restarted on Sunday. This website helps me focus and obsess and I need to obsess.

CO_6 02-23-2016 05:18 PM

Need to lose about 30, 20 of which I had already lost before! I keep restarting...having a hard time not spiraling after a taste or bite of something. I am working on it and slowly improving. I need to find a satisfactory breakfast to keep me from being ravenous at lunch. What has worked for some of you?

I too am back,...lost 50 + in 2012 , been back to all-time high since 2014,....one month into restart....down 16 have not been 100% 3FC really helps, May 1 goal !!

Hi everyone! Recognizing a few more names too - nice to "see" some familiar names.

Well, I'm down almost 20lbs since rebooting on January 4th and I'm pretty happy about that. It's starting to be noticeable and people are commenting so that feels good. I think I find it fairly easy this time because I've been here before, I remember this feeling and I remember how good it felt when people started noticing.

I'm doing all alternatives this time - the clinic that I used back in 2013 isn't doing IP anymore, they're doing something different and I'd rather stick with something I know. I have to say that I love, love, love Quest chips! I haven't found a place that has the BBQ ones in stock yet but the sour cream and onion flavour - wow, I feel like I'm cheating when I have them, lol! I also bought a container of the Quest multi-purpose mix but haven't got any more adventurous than making pancakes with it. One of these days I'll try some muffins or even cookies.

Hope everyone is having a great night and I'm going to try to check in more frequently.

Jo

I'm a creature of habit so I have the chocolate drink. But what I do is I mix it up, pour half into a large coffee takeout cup, heat that in the microwave for 35 seconds and then I add hot coffee to it. And then I do the same with the remaining half mid- morning. I find that this works best for me at work. On the weekends I make the pancakes with the IP crispy cereal packet. It's my weekend treat!

darbs7 02-24-2016 06:30 AM

I am starting day 4 today. I just returned from a cruise on Saturday...so my goal for my first week is to weigh what I did before I left for the cruise (I did not weigh when I started as I weighed the day before I left for the cruise)...I know I gained a solid 8 or more pounds on cruise from the pool drinks alone.

I think I am in ketosis...I think I was by middle of day yesterday...fastest ever.:carrot:

Looks like the reboots thread is picking up some steam again! :)

I am basically done with my reboot, at least for now. I am just about at goal, but my measurements are smaller now than they were the first time I hit goal on IP. Must be because of the muscle mass I put on during my "gain". The next 5 weeks for me are crazy busy with company, traveling, vacations, etc... so I am going to do what I did through the holidays and do a combination of "eating normal", P1 and some splurges. If I can stay right here in the mid-high 130's, that would be perfect. Then I plan to do 1-2 weeks back on P1 at the beginning of April and then start my phase off.

Hi everyone!!

So glad this thread popped up. Rebooting since 1/25. Finally saw some movement on the scale this morning after NO loss last week.

Jennydoodle: Great news. Congrats!

How much do you have to lose in your reboot?

Largo 02-24-2016 08:54 PM

Think I am almost done too. I am back to where I was when I phased off last year. I plan to hit phase 2 a week from Friday. I want to keep my discipline for the rest of the phases and maintenance. I am hoping to slowly lose 4 to 5 more pounds on maintenance by watching my calories and macros carefully. Love it that all my clothes fit again. Everyone else seems to have a handle on their reboot. We got this.

I've got 7 more lbs to go. I'm not sure if I will make it by 3/5 but if I get to that date and and I'm not at 140 I'll move on to P2 for a week and then P3 and then back to my regular Maintenance menus and working out. That should do it. My hair is falling out again and I'm much more hungry on this reboot than the last one. Also the weight is not coming off as quickly as the first reboot I did. In reading the forums, I understand that is not all that unusual.

pishposhappelsauce 02-25-2016 02:49 PM

Glad to see so many of you having successes in your reboot. It's inspiring!

Started today with alternatives. I'm HUNGRY! But hanging in there. Hoping ketosis hits soon.

I really wish we had a 'like' button :) I try to get on the board and read all of the comments but I don't always have time to comment.
Congrats to all and thank you for the encouragement. I am finding there are more resources now, or perhaps just easier to find, then there was before.
I am also poking/thinking/playing with the idea of creating an app with IP /low carb in mind. In today's world, having 'an app for that' is almost second nature.
