I'm ready for a reboot! Holidays are fast approaching and I don't want things to get to out of hand. I would like to lose 15 pounds. I do very well during the week but the weekend seem to be a big challenge for me, does anyone else have this problem? What do you do to combat the struggle?

1 - Going to get a massage (I find this completely takes any desire to not stay OP away) 2 - going to a movie (vs sitting in front of your tv) 3 - doing chores around the house (mostly including things I never get around to doing like cleaning out closets and things - such a great sense of accomplishment when done) 4 - hobbies like golf but also strangely enough, spending time to research recipes and doing menu planners because then I look forward to executing my plan and it eliminates any desire to go off OP as I have my plan |

Y'all have a WONDERFUL Wednesday... hugs... |
HI Everyone! Welcome back aunt Sheshi, Ro22, Cactus, and toothgirl!
I just changed my ticker down one more pound! Clothes are starting to fit better. I'm still a few sizes away from the favorite ones I bought at the end of my previous weightloss journey, but I'm definitely on the way! One more pound and it'll be 20 pounds since August 17. Three more pounds and I'm into the next "decade." It feels good. I know that as addicted as I am to food (sweets, carb-y stuff) I'm more addicted to getting on my scale in the mornings and trying on my clothes to see if "it's a little bit looser." I love to do that and waste much morning time just seeing how many more pounds it will take to be able to wear something to work. Just thought I'd say hi and get a word in! Have a great day, everyone. Stick with this. It works. It's slow for me this time around, but I'm ok with that, as long as it comes off. :carrot::carrot: |
Congrats, Joy! I have always found months 3 and 4 are the ones were most inches are lost so in 2 weeks' time during that perioid, I can go down 2 sizes when in first 2 months, I don't drop a size so you should be getting into those clothes in no time!

Change in Dinner Protein Amounts
I may be crazy but I keep thinking that the dinner protein wasn't 8oz when I did this the first time. Has anyone been around since 2011 who remembers the plan then?

3rd time is the charm!
Hi. This is my first time joining a forum for weight loss support, so bare with me please :dizzy:
I'm 32 yrs old/ 5'7''/ mommy of 2 (5&4yr old). I first started IP Las February lost 32lbs in 3 months. We joined as a family challenge my husband and his parents joined IP as well. We all did good up until our little vacation in May. We ate regular food during the vacation and never came back to the IP program. I think NOT phasing out correctly was our worst mistake. In July I tried to go back on the diet but only lasted 2weeks. So here I am today trying this for the third time. I have gained 11lbs back since May and I don't want to wake up one day weighing 200lbs again. So I started the program last Monday and is been hard, the cravings are so much worse than I remember. Tomorrow is my weigh in day... WISH ME LUCK!;) |

BF % goal
I'm at 25% body fat so getting closer to my goal - 20% body fat. Just curious what body fat % others have used for their goal. I definitely am WAY healthier and looking trimmer but still have a belly and a good amount of fat on my thighs so thinking I do want to get to 20 % BF but I am so ready for normal food again! This diet works - I have only lost 1 pound of muscle but 24 pounds of fat - but it is hard!
Thanks, Ali |

I am rebooting after knee replacement surgery in July. I ate WAY too much over the summer being at home. I had previously lost over 90 pounds on IP years ago. I thankfully did not gain it all back. I have now lost more than 20 pounds in my reboot in the last 5 weeks. I am psyched and determined to do it all this time. I really need the other knee done, but want to much lighter, which will be more helpful for the recovery (which I did well with the first time).
