Yep I lost 3.2 but I will take it and run...a lot better than no loss, a gain...or worst not being on this journey!

I know I was in the lower numbers of the girls but to me this is not important...it is in our human nature to compare and there is nothing wrong with this when it is used as a positive tool...it should not be used to belittle the progress that you are making.

Kayweight I have read many of your comments and I really feel for you..but I wrote this to you on other thread (don't ask me which one...I hit them one at the time and can't keep track...lol) DO NOT GIVE UP! Let the program to it's job and I promise you will not regret it!

Someone has a comment on the bottom of their messages...Comparaison is the thief of joy I love this and I have it posted in my classroom for my students. Too many times I have seen a student so proud of the work they have done and the results they get just to be SOOOOOO sad a few seconds later when they compare their mark with someone else!

We are on this journey together to help each other out...we are there for you KAY..be there for YOURSELF!

I had ups and downs last week. Had 3 social events to attend. Not perfect but did ok. I lost 3 pounds. It should of been a greater loss but I will take it. Hoping this week goes better.

Hello to all!
As my signature blocks shows, I started IP in 2010 and lost 60 lbs in 6 mths...my god. It was unbelievable! I maintained for about 2 years, but then I got 'comfortable'. But good thing is that I have not gained back all the 60. But I def don't feel AS GOOD or AS CONFIDENT as I did 'back then'. I want that feeling back and have really missed this site. The support is unreal, its GREAT! Just by reading a bit here and there, it was enough to convince me to stay up to date with you all again. I was too afraid to get on the scale this a.m, but eating OP already today so will update my ticket tomorrow. And with hip surgery looming any weight that I can get off of me surely will aid in a more speedy and easy recovery. Its really true that each day is a new start. Here is to day one!

There will always be some kind of social event...that is life. We cannot lock ourselves in our house and let life pass us by. You said it..no perfect but you did ok. This is a lot better than 'fell off the wagon and ate everything'...

Hey you still got a 3 lbs loss...which is great! Today is another day...

Hi Everyone
I have been on Maintenance since September after having lost 25 pounds on Ideal Protein. Many thanks to all of you for your posts and information which was so helpful during my time on the first three phases!!!! During the Christmas and New Year seasons I gained 5 pounds-went back on Phase 1 for one week to get back to goal. Now I don't know if I have to go through Phase 2 and 3 before going back on Maintenance. ( I hope not!!!) Has anyone been through this who can advise me?! Thanks.

The recommendation from my clinic was to do 2 - 4 days of P2 and then a few days of P3 after 2 weeks or less on P1.

That sounds sensible! Just didn't want to spend a month before getting back on maintenance. Thanks.

Loser 13, Thank you. It was a rough day, and though I continued, I stepped away from the boards. I'm pushing forward, thanks for cheering me on, and I'm trying to just stick to the plan without focusing on expectations next WI. Congrats on your loss! We *are* in this together and I'm so appreciative for that and glad to be on the journey with everyone.

Coffebean - 3 pounds down with three social events! That's WONDERFUL! I'll be having the first meal I'm not preparing Friday, at a restaurant. This gives me hope. You rock!

Losingforgood - Welcome back! Great job maintaining for two years, coming back before you regained all of it (that's difficult I would think-not prolonging it), and for coming back at all!

kay. We all have those moments when we just want to give up and cave to tempatation...we are overweight for a reason...this is an important part of journey...to discocer why we do this to ourselves so that the cycle does not keep repeating itself.

One day at a time!
