oneuh2 While I've never had swordfish, I do use the WF Honey Balsamic mixed with a 0/0/0 rice vinegar and WF pancake syrup to make an awesome salmon dish. The recipe is in the Daily chat recipe file under "sweet and sour salmon".

If y'all have not visited the Discouraged thread, you really want to check out this posting from 65X65 -- I remember her from last Summer, and she shares some very valuable experience and observations... Especially pertinent for the short, the older, and those with slower metabolisms and those phasing off of P1.... check it out!! |
Hi everyone,
I posted under the June 2015 starters, but thought I should post here, too, to introduce myself. I am restarting IP (I successfully lost with IP in 2012). I didn't deal with my issues of emotional eating, though, and have put on weight. I had discovered this website when I was phasing off (when I was looking for Phase 3 breakfast ideas), and thought I should join the group with my restart journey! |
Welcome mkfrances:)

Thanks for the intro and welcome back to 3FC, mkfrances -- this is a great place to be for support and the IP Community thread is just the place to get good support and answers when you have questions! :welcome: frawniemae - I used your recipe but substituted the WF Sesame Ginger dressing, and I added 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar.... I know balsamic is not compliant on P1, but I thought that extra shot of flavor might be just the thing for the swordfish..... it came out great! DH and I both enjoyed it, and it was a nice change from our usual fare. |
Heading into another busy week for me... I am not WI tomorrow as we are heading out to PA to visit Penn State and LockHaven University. DS has off for election day tomorrow so we are making the most of it.
June 1st and I will celebrate 1 year on program the end of the month...WOW If you would have told me last June 1 that I would be down 85 pounds in a year I would have never ever believed it in a million years... But here I am :carrot: |
