The only things I would suggest, is One keep using this forum for lots of support. Two most definitely take everything one day at a time but do not count out the possibility of finding love. While I am not suggesting you get obsessed with hunting it down, I am merely saying keep your eyes and mind open tot he possibility. The world is funny like that, sending you what you need if you are open to it. It sounds like you have been doing this for a while if your down 30 pounds already, Congratulations on continuing with your goal. |

Another day down....hoping another pound lost!! Hope everyone is having a great week. I just realized I have been eating way too many dill pickles. Not sure why I thought they were unlimited. Think I still lost weight for the week.

Spreading the word... I had my 6pm WI and lost 4 lbs this week --- bringing my recent 30 day total loss to 7.8 -- I'd say that's pretty darn good for month 9 on the IP program when I am only 12lbs to goal.
Losses have been so slow, with more upticks than downward moves, for the past couple of months. This week is the whoosh I have been waiting for.... :woohoo: YAY!!! :woohoo: |

There's something about going down a "decade" that is so exciting. At my home scale I was 159.2!!! And I was on cloud 9 all day....at IP clinic I registered in at 160. dang it!!!

I lost my brother this week to cancer, his diagnosis in December was one of the triggers for me to get healthy. Needless to say it has been a difficult time and one of the reasons I haven't been active on the list for the last little while. I am staying OP through this but at times I'm not eating enough, I am starting today to be more vigilant about my food intake. I hope I haven't put a a sadness on this thread but wanted/needed to share:( |

The thing about weight loss is it "does what it does". We can do the same things from week to week and the scale results will vary due to water and other bodily fluids. And, then after long-term results, many folks stall for a while before the weight drops more. For those who have been here a while, we see it happen over and over again. I had two stalls. The second one was the one that got me addressing the health costs of staying on IP P1 long-term. The question to ask is this: How did you stick with P1 through weeks of a stall? What did you use as motivation when the scale wasn't producing results? |
