I'm *not* a huge fan of bars in general (the IP caramel nut was one of the samples I got from the open house and left me wondering if I'd be able to handle the program ;) but I like the IP chocolate mint, fwiw :)

The peanut butter bar and double chocolate brownie are my faves!

JLUS - THANKS! I've been looking for an unrestricted bar because sometimes I really want to grab one for a snack as well. Will add those to my next NH order!

I too did not like the first two I tried and one I had a whole box of and I haven't been willing to risk it again. My centre doesn't do a start up basket. It's all or nothing, but then I also don't pay any additional fees, just the cost of food. Since they are all restricted, I would have to like them a lot to bother with them.

I once considered the quest cinnamon roll as not restricted based on carbs but after I saw the calories realized I probably shouldn't have. I really shouldn't have two sweet treats in a day anyway.

Also, in saying I don't like bars - I don't count the wafers as bars - I do love them!

Aaaaahhhhh....the bars.....I think about them all day, and I have one every night about 8pm. Love the lemon/poppy bars and the peanut bars. Tried the cranberry ones but they taste a little like bubble gum...

My favorite is the IP peanut butter bar, a go to breakfast item for me, especially if I am traveling. I recently tried the IP brownie and it is good, also very filling. The cookie dough bar was just ok for me. Have not tried any wafers but they seem very popular!

i loooove the wafers. strawberry, chocolate, and lemon are all really good. i rotate those for my restricted every day. :D

another vote for the Lemon Wafers, they tasted really good to me. I really didn't like any of the other bars I've tried so I'm sticking to them and may try the chocolate. My clinic is whole boxes too, makes it a little difficult to experiment.

My favorite are the wafers, I like chocolate, strawberry, and lemon equally. I tend to stay away from the bars...not really sure why. lol

I love the lemon wafers. The chocolate ones are okay and I didn't care for the strawberry ones. I don't ever order the orange ones because for some reason they are $0.50 more than the other wafers at my clinic.

I like the wafers mainly because I feel like I get 'more' with them. The bars are so small and not satisfying to me like those wafers are. I get even more out of the wafers because I pull them apart and eat them in sections.

Have any of you tried Zone Bars? Or are they way restricted??

Kellyc14 08-21-2014 12:57 PM

Kissi- I don't care for the orange ones either. And you're right the bars are smaller, that's probably why I stopped getting them. :)

Looking at some of the nutrition information on them, it doesn't look like they are IP approved. The carbs are really high in them and the protein is lower than 15g.

Darn, I saw them at the store and they looked yummy.

Kissi - you crack me up!!!
I have not tried the wafers, but if I did I am sure I would take them apart just like you describe!!

I got chocolate soy puffs today when I went to weigh in, figuring I can eat them one puff at a time and make them last much longer than a bar....
we think alike, Kissi!!!
