I've been reading through some of your threads today and am interested in the structure of the IP diet. I think that being able to use packaged foods will help me stick with the plan since I am not much of a planner. I want to lose 70-100#, not sure exactly where I want to end up.
I have a couple of questions...
- Is there a way to get the IP products without visiting a clinic?
- Has anyone combined Lyle McDonald's Rapid Fat Loss (RFL) plan with IP? The RFL plan works with similar macros to IP but recommends a free evening meal 2x week to allow you to socialize a bit easier and keep your metabolism guessing. I believe the "free meal" is supposed to still be comprised of a certain amount of protein and veg but may include extra fat or even alcohol or carbohydrates (although I'd probably still try to stay ketogenic with my free meal). I think this may help me stick with the diet since 70-100# will be a lengthy process and I do not want to become a hermit in that time! I also know from experience that a "cheat" meal can sometimes derail me, so I am thinking a little planned flexibility built in may help me in the long run.
