April 30 - Quarterly Business GST payment AND Tax Payment deadline!!!! I made it just in time this afternoon, lol. No govmint man comin' after us!
I think I'm done with weightloss P2 alternative, I seem to be eating more maintenance style, so we'll see what is happening with the weight on Saturday, but I'm wearing a lot more of my clothes comfortably these days. Liana I know it sucks to not feel good, but overall your day was not really over the top by most people's standards

I ended up yesterday on a strange day macro wise, not enough protein and much more fat than usual, but it seemed to be what my body wanted so I just went with it - the calories overall were still OK for me, actually about 200 low but I was completely sedentary yesterday.

I am starting to go overboard on nut butter the last two nights…. need to reign it in a little bit Luckily staying the same on the scale….. still figuring out the balance of what is overboard and what seems OK...

Uggggh, Amber, I think I'm going crazy.... last night late was a package of 5 Sundried Tomato & Basil ricecakes along with 3 wedges of light Laughing Cow. Haha, at least I didn't touch the real old cheddar. Just way too many carbs at night - obviously my calories have NOT ended up under my goal by the time I go to bed, for many days (weeks???? lol.)
So this morning coupled with TOM I am at just past scream weight. 5 lbs in the past 4 days... I have got to get something in my life under control - I should start with this.
Watched a series of HBO videos from Flight of the Conchords - as I needed a laugh - cried on DH's shoulder when he got home from work yesterday.

Liana, Flight of the Concords was one of my favorites! I was a little bit of a cultish fan with my friends when it came out
I still love it when I can catch one of the actors in something else. Really talented guys.

I feel similarly about so much happening in life. I've shed my share of tears these last weeks - house moves, relationship ups and downs, also I'm a volunteer counselor for youth and teens and their situations are breaking my heart lately. I'm glad though that I do cry, I know it's much healthier than supressing. One day at a time....

With the stress and food, I think because I'm just starting maintenance I'm catching a break with not having too much gain, but definitely into a cycle where I'm going over on calories for two days, going up a few pounds, reigning it in for a few days, and then down. I'm overall doing well, but yesterday was particularly intense and I had two really long volunteer meetings in the evening that I knew were going to be heartbreaking, and found myself gearing up for it with an extra snack..... don't like to see those mechanisms kick in, and sit and look at it happening and make the decision to do it anyway. Maybe the issue is not to feel bad about it, but at the same time I want to stay healthy - physically and emotionally.
I think what I'm going to do for the control part is not pull back too far but maybe just try to cut in half the afternoon or evening snack on days when this happens, so it can be a planned stress snack. I think I'm willing to do that.
For you it's cheese, for me it's nut butter. So instead of 4 T that end up 400 calories worth I'll do 200. So that's my commitment for this next week

Wow that day looks delicious.
My day yesterday was good, stuck to my week plan to not go overboard during snacks. So funny my body really wanted more last night, or it seemed like it, but I wanted to stay with my commitment. At one moment I actually decided I thought I would go get more, and then I got distracted and forgot about it - thank goodness for small blessings.... was up a pound yesterday morning but down today. I'm not that worried about the fluctuations as long as I'm not doing something that will keep the scale on an upward trend. TOM is coming next week so there will be a little up from that.

Soooo, my NSV from last night: I only had peach spice herbal tea as I read the weekend papers (Friday papers are delivered Thurs night at our place). That helped me drop a lb, lol, even with the salty bacon cheese combo for dinner yesterday. I feel a little more at peace about it, but am a bit worried for this weekend since tomorrow we head to DH's mom's for the memorial of his brother. I'm sure there will be food & drink that I really shouldn't have. I need to make a commitment in my head today about it. Perhaps I should take over all cooking duties for this weekend (then I will make only on plan stuff mwahahahah! ).
Glad you got distracted Amber, hahaha. Still no actual start of period for me, just those awful TOM 'symptoms.' With my luck lately, I will start when we travel and be in crampy pain for the whole weekend. Sorry for the TMI

I will edit later to post meals - probably looking to clean some stuff out of the fridge even though it's only a couple days.
