This is my last ditch effort prior to pursuing WLS. Which I desperately do not want to do.

I remember this place is a good support so I thought I'd check back in!

Hi there! This is my first time on IP, but I am restarting my weight loss journey after regaining everything I lost on WW. This has been a pattern for me and even though it sucks to have to repeat the process, I do feel I learn something new every time around. What I am already learning on these boards is how helpful accountability is in maintenance. Welcome back - we can do this!

Not sure when the post was, but I saw someone talking about finding the ideal weight to aim for, based on your height, age and frame.

Was wondering if http://www.extremelysmart.com/andmodest/idealweight.php was the link they were referring to.

Good way to do it... if you want to find out what percentile you are (compared with the rest of the US) here is Dr. Halls' site. Looks a little hokey but he is legit, (as the other site mentioned at the bottom) lol.

The dukan diet site has a good calculator for finding a realistic goal weight.

I've gone from the 98th to the 45th percentile! Still considered overweight though.
