Good Morning Everyone....

I asked this question in the July starters, but I will ask here also because I am curious.....What do you do with your clothes as they become too big? Keep, donate, toss in a bonfire I am at the point I need to clean out and with so many failed attempts I'm afraid to toss everything......

Pair of pants again today needs a belt lol. I need to get to the store this weekend.

FYI if you have a Home Goods near you I found the sf pumpkin syrup in mine yesterday! They also had vanilla, almond, Carmel, coconut, mocha and hazelnut.
Torini and skinny something (?) brand....

Sgrealtor1 - I sent my clothes off to donation as soon as they were unwearable. I didn't want them around because I never wanted to grow back into them! I did keep one pair of pants from my highest weight just as a motivator.

I did/do a lot of shopping at thrift shops and begged clothes from friends and relatives. I think they got tired of hearing me ask them "isn't this a good time to clean out your closet?"

I have joined a clothing rental place that is like Netflix for plus size cloths, then I don't have to worry about what to do with it as it gets bigger, and I don't have to buy a bunch of smaller clothes until I reach goal. If you are interested, here is the link: http://goo.gl/tR1NWh

This is day 10 for me, doing great! I love this diet!

Sgrealtor1, I have tried to follow the advice of folks here who say to get rid of things when they are too big. I'm fortunate that we have a plus-size consignment shop here in town so I can take things in and find new things at the same time!

Did some more "wogging" today (walk/jog combo, lol) and was glad to get it in before it gets too hot. It's supposed to get to 90 here today. I'm ready for cooler weather to come!

Good morning!

I am a daily weigher ( ) and the scale hit 199.8 this am!! I may have done a naked victory dance in my bathroom. All my whining yesterday about "only" losing 0.4 makes me feel kind of silly now. I won't update my ticker until my official weigh in on Monday, but I feel skinnier already. Haha

I had trouble getting to sleep last night. I was still awake after one and was worried I would be exhausted when my alarm went off, but i actually woke up half an hour before my alarm and felt refreshed, even though I only got about six hours of sleep. Hopefully I don't crash this afternoon since I work until 630!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Ooh I'm going to have to hit up home goods this weekend for those flavors!

Had my official weigh in a day late today and I'm thinking I might switch to Wednesday WIs from now on. Down 3.6 pounds! Extra sweet after a 0 loss last week. Only 6 pounds left to goal, though my coach and I were discussing going even farther because I want to have a good cushion - 165 is probably going to be my "do not cross" weight in maintenance. I know I'll probably lose more in P2, but extra cushion is ok with me. I'm thinking I'll just stay on P1 through my October vacation and phase off wherever I'm at then (assuming I make it to 165 by then).

We also did a body comp, and while I know many on here say don't put too much stock in those things, it did show that my lean mass is now 114 (down from 128 when I started). My coach seemed a little concerned and said I should expect to see a 8-10 pound loss in lean mass with the total amount of weight I've lost. She suggested adding an extra packet on days I feel sluggish or tired (which is most of the time haha). Anyone have an opinion or suggestions? I personally am not to worried about it. I know I get my protein, and I don't exercise strenuously.

Hope everyone has a good Wednesday!

Great question about the clothes.... I lost a lot of weight years ago and tossed ALL of my clothes. I then regained all of the weight I lost (and then some) and was sorry that I tossed my clothes. So naturally I am afraid to do that again...but I think I should get rid of them. So far I have kept two pair of jeans, not because I ever plan on fitting in them again, but I paid a pretty penny for them and am not ready to let them go, plus I would like to keep one pair as a reminder of how far i've come.

For me, I feel like if I have to shell out money for a larger size it will be more in my face that I need to take action. But if I have a variety of clothes in a variety of sizes at my house, it would be too easy to overlook the fact that I need to get back on plan. I'm going into this diet with the attitude that it is a lifestyle change and I will constantly monitor my weight.

That is just me though...everyone is different. I plan to keep one pair of my largest sized shorts just until I hit goal but donate everything else.
