Slip: Did you get some painting in today?

Kawaii: Thumbs up to no dizziness and good BP!! Enjoy the friend visit.

I am back from camping, and glad to be home! It seems so much easier to not stray from my plan at home. I didn't stick to plan 100%, there were 2 days I had bites of things I shouldn't have, BUT they were only bites. Now to get caught up on laundry! Oh the joys. LOL Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday!

Ended up last night going to an impromptu "field trip" to Dave & Busters.. Got an 8oz steak, sautéed spinach (using minimal olive oil), and broccoli. Seltzer water while everyone else had drinks. I feel like it was overall a great night... Had tons if fun with Air Hockey instead of appetizers or desserts. . One day, one meal at a time, I will be successful!

Kawaii: Your "field trip" sounds like a lot of fun. I had to chuckle at your "one day, one meal at a time, I will be successful" comment. You are already successful, not you WILL, you ARE. Look at your stats they are amazing. Keep up the good work.

Off for another round of golf today! Yeah! Should be a great day. Hope all of you have a great, easy OP day.

Hi everyone,

Getting so much done! So, I bought my house 12 yrs ago and inherited a full of junk, brown shed. My Mom and I transformed the outside with a mural. But the inside was intimidating! A couple of years ago, the guy behind me rolled a boulder over the edge and it hit the shed, putting a hole in the side. It did not damage the mural and I am attached to the mural, so I left it. Fast forward to last week when I got home from Maine, a critter had met his end in the shed. No way was I going in that scary place, so I called my bro. He and my dad did away with the critter and we cleaned out the whole shed! When they arrived I was in the driveway sanding the metal furniture. After they left, I finished painting the table and chairs.

It was really good to be so busy because today was Phase 1, after my free day yesterday. The day flew by! Still need to figure out dinner, but I am not even hungry yet.

Want2b, did you have a good time golfing? Don't you just love summer?

How about the rest of you? How is your IP journey going? Life? Celebrations? Struggles?

Slip: thank goodness for family sometimes. Glad they got it all cleaned up for you. And yes I love summer, nice weather and no schedules. Lol.
Golfing was sucky but the walk and the weather were great. Anyone else a golfer or ball player? I really notice a difference in how I swing this year, just can't seem to get it right for some reason. I am blaming it on the weight loss. Lol. I assume after losing 80+ pounds I will need to learn how to swing a over again. Anyone else notice a difference?

Want2b, sorry not a coordinated bone in my body- so no golf here, lol. I definitely think you do have to learn body movements again with your new body though. Gardening without an extra 90 pounds is actually harder at times. No weight behind the shovel when breaking soil.

You will adjust your swing in time. Maybe, consult a pro?

I did my Trader Joe's trip today and discovered something new which I will try tomorrow. It is a bag of "Smallish Gems" sweet lettuce. I love their Cruciferous Crunchies, a great assortment of veggies that I roast in the oven the same way many do kale chips.

Never thought I would love strange vegggies......

I wlil have to look for a Trader Joe's when we travel to the USA next time, I had never heard of them until you guys mentioned them.

I am still here, plugging along. I am looking forward to WI tomorrow, it will be 2 weeks since my last WI. I did try a skort on today that I thought I wore a couple of weeks ago, only to have to fall off!!! I thought I must be losing it(my brain that is) so I decided to take my measurements, even thou I took them 2 weeks ago. I measure my bust, just below bust, waist, hips, and right thigh, and in 2 weeks I have lost .5inch in ALL of those places, which would be 2.5nches in total in 2 weeks. Seems like a lot to me and I know taking your own measurements is not always the most accurate thing but I was still impressed.

Hope everyone is staying strong. Chat with you tomorrow.

I am down 2.8lbs this morning. Not as great of a weightloss as I was hoping for but still a loss.

Have a great OP day.

Good morning everyone,

Trader Joes has great prices on healthy products- example: bag of wild arugula $1.99 at my local grocery store $3.99.

Want2b, the inches really start cranking as you get closer to goal, it is kind of shocking. Good luck on Weigh in.

Off to work in the yard, seems like a never ending list of chores....
