Default Very Confused but pleased

I have struggled with my weight so IP has helped a lot however if IP is so scientific why do some center say yes to some thing while others say no to some things? For example: baking soda and powder, the no calorie butter spray. Any advice would be appreciated.
I started IP on May first and as of today, which was my 1st way I have lost 5 lbs.

My best guess is because there are different levels of training. If every coach would check with IP support when they really don't know an answer...then they wouldn't be making up rules along the way. Too many just make it up or make their own rules or guess at what they think is the correct answer, instead of taking the time to find out.

a few times I'd have to wait some days for an answer to a question while they sent an email to Head Office Scientific Dept,

I also think in a few cases, the coaches believe if they make some adjustments to make things more easily followed by clients by allowing a little bend in the rules here or there, they will keep them on plan and ultimately that's good for their business. (Not really talking about sabotaging the speed of weight-loss so they keep people ON longer... just that if they can tweak a rule so it isn't quite so "strict", people will be happier and more inclined to continue!)

Hello Texas Dolly...congratulations on a great start. I investigated how different coaches operate before I started. I travel a half hour for my center when we have two centers 5 mins away. The two close by do like weekly drive-byes not really much coaching if you ask me. In fact the center I go to charges an extra 20 a week for the weigh ins the girl is terrific. BTW you'll see in the initial daily videos that you will get from IP you will get recipes with things like baking powder and no calorie butter spray used. It has to be zero carbs fat and calories.

Glad you found a great clinic - it makes all the difference!

The 0/0/0 is carbs, fat and sugars not calories though.
