mars I do think the water has helped me in other ways for sure! I can't believe I used to drink so little before IP!

So I can't get any of that (except water obviously) here in Jamaica. I will go to the pharmacy and see what they have but I'm pretty sure I don't want to take a laxative. I'm trying to make a trip to the US at the end of the month, but I know that I NEED to go... (I can have things mailed here by amazon but I have to pay taxes on everything so it just ends up being too expensive)...
I'm gonna TRY to drink more water.. I have no problems with number 1.. but number 2 is just not happening!! |

I am not a fan of Smooth Move tea or anything with stimulants.
If you rely on them eventually your bowels will become lazy, you will need to keep upping the dose then won't be able to go on your own. Just something to keep in mind. |

I'd try probiotics before smooth move, which is a stimulant laxative |
I've found having a fatty cut of meat helps. Don't know why maybe it's the oil but everytime I have a hamburger patty the next day I'm going.

I took probiotics and it worked pretty well but now I take a tsp of Calm Magnesium Citrate powder every night before bed (for better sleep) and I go #2 every morning now. It's awesome!

I was having the same issue. I bought a generic brand stool softener and that has seemed to do the trick. I just take whenever needed and it usually works in about a day.:)

This has been an ongoing battle for me as well. Once I'm able to go I'll go down a good 3-5 lbs but actually getting there is rough. I've done Magnesium Citrate but I try to keep that to a minimal since I'm a bit worried about dependency. How's the taste of the Smooth Move tea? I've heard of it quite a bit but haven't tried it yet.

Interestingly until today I've had the opposite problem. Like explosive. and PAINFUL diariah. now today I'm suddenly backed up and I feel sick and look like a pregnant woman. ugh. My coach just said to get some natures bounty magnesium and take 1500-2000. Also to take an epsom salts bath (1 cup per 50lbs)

I had the same problem. Bought a generic stool softener at the pharmacy and it worked within a day or so. Now I use it whenever I need to!
