Default Support Groups

Does anybody attend a support group? I was talking with my ND about it and suggested members of her clinic, if they wish, meet on a monthly basis to:

1. Share recipes
2. Trade food items (like in the grade school lunch rooms)
3. Find walking/exercise partners
4. Commiserate and develop new friends who share the same goals

Any input or ideas anybody here has would be greatly appreciated (before I make the commitment to play hostess - I work in the same location as my ND, so it would be in our office.)

Thanks!

I think that is a great idea. I wish I had that in my area. I say go for it! Good Luck!

I think its a great idea!
I suggested it at my clinic and the owner loved the idea but she never got her stuff together and actually DID anything about it.
Since I was paying HER, I wasn't going to do it for her.
