It's frustrating. I feel a good coach could make a huge difference. I'm trying to stay on plan exactly as it is written so I don't succumb to any misinformation of theirs. This forum is a great help too.
The first week they didn't measure me cause she said there isn't normally a big loss and they like to wait for the second week. Then when I came in yesterday she was rushing me out of there, and I had to ask to be measured. She wrote them down so quickly and mentioned a few losses, but I don't know what the total was! Frustrating!
And to the lady who said she's been wearing only sweatpants and sweatshirts- same here!!! I am trying not to wear regular clothes at all, don't want to be discouraged or feel bad, and hoping for some sort of noticeable difference when I do have to put them on.
Thanks for the support and inspiration as always guys.

I'm sorry you are having a problem FacingIt. I am also in Austin and I love my coach. The last time I was there I was rushing out and she said that she never wanted me to feel rushed and that we should take all the time we need. I couldn't be happier with her.

Opted for scrambled eggs (asked if there was butter in them and they said no), a little bit of ham, and then went to the omelette bar. I scooped extra veggies on my plate from that, and then had them make me an omelette full of veggies...no cheese, no butter, just eggs and veggies. I felt good about it! It was great that I had two IPers with me, too. One is on maintenance and one was on phase 1 for a month, but is switching off and doing her own thing.
Today is my "one-month anniversary" of starting IP and I feel great!

You did really well. Your description was so vivid, I could almost see the buffet of 'goodies'. Having survived that, you should discover with pride that can overcome old feelings towards food. Congratulations.

To be successful in this diet phase 1 you have to be 100% OP. Get up brush yourself off and follow the plan. I say it has been a gift to lose the weight. I lost 30 pounds in 2010 and managed to keep most of the weight off by eating healthy and making good food choices. You can do it.

Grammys?
Watching these singers and hearing these songs makes me feel soooo old! Chicago still sounds good. What the heck is going on with Daft Punk, though? LOL

Renee, me too! I usually try to keep up because of my school audience, but I feel like I have missed a year of music

Just wondering about compliance with IP and taste before I buy

They are all I use for my restricted. They are delicious and cheap at Costco!
