Just placed my first alternatives order! Bought from Amazon Prime:

ProteiDiet pancake
ProteiDiet BBQ soy nuts
ProteiDiet maple oatmeal
ProteiDiet creamy chicken soup mix

Can't wait to get them (there's only so many EAS shakes I can drink!!)

I really try to keep it positive

HOWEVER

I'm very disappointed in ALL of the alt chocolate puddings I've tried.
The three most recent I got from Nashua didn't mix up creamy in my smoothie, but rather just like a chocolate drink (thin).

I LOVED the IP Dark Chocolate pudding mix in my smoothies but had to quit using it when I restricted soy protein. I switched to the milk chocolate, which I found sweeter but still with a good consistency (I prefer less-sweet). For a time I made my own with Syntrax Chocoalte Truffle, xanthan gum, and some dark cocoa powder. It just was never as good.

I just tried another from Nashua today (Health Smart) and it is SICKENINGLY sweet to me (like my new word?) . I've also tried ProtiDiet and WLS chocolates just not comparable to IP.

Grr...I really don't want to pay the prices IP charges for their products if I'm not getting what I need from the company (good coaching) but I may reconsider and try a different clinic (associated with a doctors office) if I can't find a good substitute. We forgo a lot on IP. It is nice to have items you like

Anyone find any chocolate pudding mixes that come out as smooth and creamy as IP?

This may be a long shot, Lisa....WF chocolate dip is smooth & creamy. I know there is a WF portion restriction, and sometimes the WF products have a strange taste. But I tried some I had leftover from holiday IP frosting recipe. It satisfied my chocolate longing and had good texture. Better living through chemistry!

I think my clinic is substituting IP product with other products and jacking up the price. This is my first week on IP and received a variety of food packets. I really like the cereal...cinnamon vanilla and cocoa but these are not listed on the IP website. Are these actual IP products? I looked through Ebay and found these cereal may be Slimwise cereal for $10 a box.

kimdyj
ask them about it.
If they've done a bait and switch on you, then you deserve a refund of any "coaching" fees you've paid and you can move on to another IP clinic.

Also check ProtiDiet, HealthSmart and ProtiThin cereals (you can look on Nashua Nutrition site where a lot of us buy alternatives). I know those brands offer cinnamon, vanilla and cocoa type cereals around $12/7 packs.

Sounds very fishy to me! I agree with Lisa that you should get your coaching $ back and even the $ for the falsified products (they probably meet IP standards, but they sold them as IP products so they were NOT what you thought they were.) might also want to report to IP via their corporate website.

Does everyone eat their cereals dry? I'm considering buying some PD cereal but I'm not sure what I would eat it with....water? coffee?

I have some vanilla protein powder and I sprinkle a little on(tsp or so) and then add a little ice cold water to make "milk". It's kind of like the powder in IP Crispy cereal that turns to "milk". I find that as long as it looks white like milk and I have a tiny bit of flavor from the powder, I don't mind it at all!

Some people do similar with a little vanilla RTD.

And some do eat it dry, but to me that's a snack and I want it to feel "breakfasty!"

I use a couple ounces of my vanilla shake or some unsweetened almond milk. I am not a person who drinks the milk in my cereal, I just need enough to get it wet. If I use 1/4 c., there'll still be leftovers.

Struggling this week. So close to pre-pregnancy weight and just can't get it under control.

Hi, I'm new here. Just wondering if anyone has tried Leanfit Naturals protein drink (vanilla bean). Calories 110, fat 0, total carb 8g (fibre 5g, sugar 3g), protein 18g. It seems to fit the criteria for an alternative. (Do I count the net carbs ie 3g vs 8g?)

How about tofu shirataki noodles?

Thanks

My husband had ran to the store for me and I had asked hime to pick me up some EAS carb control Vanilla RTD shakes, well he came home and he had bought a bag of EAS Tone and Lean powder instead because he went to SAMS and they only had chocalate RTD. Is there one that is better to use then the other? THe only real difference I see is that the tone and Lean has 6Carb compared to 3net carbs for the carb control one

Check out Lindora products. Most will work and they also have sales as well as sometimes offering free shipping. Also Wonderslim...looks like they are all made by the same company and just re-branded. They are also an online source. Hope this helps.
