Day 2 for me and I still have a raging headache. No amount of advil will help. I should remember this feeling when I find myself going off track. I did find that I really missed my salads at lunchtime so it feels good to get back on that eating track. We can do this!!!

I had my first weigh in since I rebooted on 12-20 and I have lost 8.3 pounds. i am so glad that I did not wait until after the new year to begin my reboot like my friends suggested...just get in that last goodie....well I have a better goodie that comes in the form of 8.3 pounds gone forever!

Try 1/4-1/2 tsp of salt in the palm of your hand, lick it off and your headache should be gone within 15 minutes.

day two of my restart and feeling pretty good this p.m.
had my lemon wafer for lunch and it was so yummy (new IP product)
I'm liking the brownie and wafers because they're bigger and take me longer to eat. Having my green tea now and thinking a headache is brewing.

Tonight I'm making a roast in the oven with some roasted bell peppers sprinkled with olive oil, salt, pepper and lemon yum

Hello Rebooters! My name is Holly and I did IP from April 2012-Dec 2012 and lost 63 pounds. Life and gaining a new foster child with a severe disability made me lose my self control and I am up almost 20 pounds. Hard to admit because I did so well and was so focused the first time around. Oh, well. I promised myself I would NEVER see 200 again so I am here to keep my promise to myself. I am on day 2 and doing well, hungry, but in control.

Edit: Updated my signature (ugh) Did NOT enjoy doing that!

Holly! You are one that I (quietly) followed on here during my first round last year. Welcome back. GREAT job of catching up before it got too out of hand!!

Day two and I am feeling so much better. I feel a ton better when I follow this program. All the bloating from sugar and all the carbs disappears so quickly on this plan. This feeling is so much better than all that sugar tastes. I will have to keep reminding myself of that down the road.

I usually start to feel really good by day 4 and my appetite totally decreases at that point. One more day to be into the nice ketosis state.

It is so nice to see so many familiar people starting again. I have not been a regular poster but have been a member of this board for a long time.

Happy Friday to everyone!

I've finished day 3. I've felt pretty good, just a little tired today because lunch and supplements were late due to crisis at work. Feeling better now that I've had dinner, supplements, and rest.

I should be moving into ketosis by tomorrow, so I'm sure that's when the cold feeling will kick in. That's not much fun in the winter but at least it's not that cold here in central Texas right now.

I'm intrigued by the green tea idea for hunger. My sister-in-law told me the same thing during Christmas. I will be checking that out because I happen to have some on hand. Does anyone know if the decaf version works as well? I don't want to drink a bunch of caffeinated green tea at night because it will keep me awake for sure.

I'll be checking in over the weekend to see how ya'll are doing and to let ya'll know how I'm doing, too. Have a great night...

Karen
