Last night was my work Christmas party. We went to my favorite place, the bowling alley, and had an absolute blast! However, the food situation wasn't the best: they had chicken wings and tenders, nachos, coconut shrimp, and my arch nemesis: pizza. Beer and soda were flowing all over the place, but I never laid a finger on any of it. I had my bar and water to keep me away from all of the "goodies" my guys were indulging in. My treat was watching them bowl: they may be a pain in the @$$ sometimes, but are funny as ****!
Because of the fact that I stayed OP throughout the night, I found out this morning that even tho TOM came, I STILL MET MY FIRST MINI GOAL AND SURPASSED IT! I wanted to get to 214 for Christmas, and am now 213.5 17 days before my deadline! I'm so super happy and blessed!

Way to Go!! You obviously went in with a plan and stuck to your guns! As a result... the rewards came!! Congrats!!!
Congrats! It really pays to be 100% and to stay away from all that non-IP food. Whenever I think about eating that stuff I try to imagine how bloated and nasty it would make me feel. Keep up the good work and you will surpass your Christmas goal!
You should be excited and very very proud.... I failed my party two nights ago, and more parties to come, but feel confident that I will do better in the future.... Here is to you and many future triumphs !!!!:carro t:
I am so happy for you....I also went to a party last night and there was Meatballs, Taco dip, chips, and spicy pretzels....I stopped by the grocery store on my way to the party and god two things of celery and brought my walden farms dressing to dip it in. I ate the celery and brought my bar with me also and I made the whole party without cheating.
The hardest thing for me is the fact that people were complimenting me and telling me they could tell my hard work is now paying off and they noticed my weight loss. I get scared when this happens due to this triggering me to eat anything I want to derail myself. I think I am finally realising there is no reason I don't deserve to loose the weight and accomplish something I have been working on for years.
I am going to stick to working out and work my stress out there. I have a couple workout buddies and some are at the gym after work and some are able to go in the morning. I am truly blessed to have these people in my life. I have a plan for Monday and Tuesday morning already. Then I always workout on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Friday's I'm off and I usually go in the morning or at noon. This is really helping me keep my emotions in check.
I love this sight...
