Nestlé sugar free creamer

  • I'm a newbie to Ideal Protein, I've been on for a lil over a week. After 1 week, I lost 5 lbs & 6 1/4 in.

I'm curious to know if Nestles sugar free creamer is oK to use while on phase 1. image.jpg

  • What's the nutritional info? How many carbs per serving calories etc? I try to stay away from the nestle products and instead use either Torani sugar free as they are 0/0/0 or use a splash of the RTD IP drinks.
  • image.jpg This is the nutritional information.

Do they (Torini) produce creamers as well?

Not that I am aware of. BUT adding a RTD shake along with a splash of vanilla, mint, orange or any extract makes an awesome ice coffee
  • Torani is the coffee syrups that Starbucks and other coffee shops use. You can find it at World Market . A large bottle will last you forever! I have one right now that's S'mores flavor. I use one pump with a splash of RTD vanilla and it makes my coffee tasty ! My honey says it smells like a candy bar.

Since the Nestle creamer has 2.5 grams of fat and 2 carbs per serving it would not be IP approved but if you're only using it once a day you MAY be safe.
    I personally wouldn't use it.

Nolasmurf - are those delicious flavors like S'mores sugar free - how many flavors do they have at World Market?

I looked at Costco because they carry them but their selection of sugar free syrups was really very limited and I am bored with them.

Ours has a HUGE sugar free section with tons of flavors! Here's a link to their website where you can buy direct if you don't have a world market!

  • Nope. This creamer isn't on the P1 sheet.
It contains both fat and carbs.

Stick with the skim milk allotment or, as has already been suggested, use part of a vanilla RTD (or a pre-shaken vanilla drink) as your cream.
  • Also, Cash & Carry has a huge selection of sugar free syrups that are 0/0/0

This is why this product is not allowed:
INGREDIENTS: WATER, CORN SYRUP SOLIDS, PARTIALLY HYDROGENATED SOYBEAN AND/OR COTTONSEED OIL, AND LESS THAN 2% OF NATURAL & ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS, SODIUM CASEINATE (A MILK DERIVATIVE)**, MALTODEXTRIN, MONO- AND DIGLYCERIDES, DIPOTASSIUM PHOSPHATE, COLOR ADDED, CARRAGEENAN, DEXTROSE, SUCRALOSE, ACESULFAME POTASSIUM (NON-NUTRITIVE SWEETENER).

The "healthy halo" of "Sugar Free" posted in green leads us down a path of accepting a product as healthy that really isn't. Don't let the marketers fool you into using a product that isn't really that good for you. Corn syrups are poison to our bodies and so is partially hydrogenated anything!

Leave this stuff on the shelf!

They had about ten or so flavors. I got S'mores and peppermint
  • I was under the impression that the sugar-free syrups were considered off-limits. Have I been wrong?
  • The only I use has zero fat, zero carbs and zero calories. As I understand that's acceptable.
  • Hmm.. I'm getting my boyfriend a keurig for Christmas.. and while I love coffee.. it has to taste like dessert. lol.. so I'm very excited for those tips. Thank you so much!
