I will pick another goal weight, I was scared to go to low and think wow.....impossible, or that is too much....tried to be more positive. Then when I reach that, I can pick a smaller goal like 20 lbs at a time and see how i feel with the new ME lol......We all have our comfort zones and now we need to find new ones that are more healther for us.
When I did IP the first time, for 3 months, I lost 53 lbs, was at 170...I felt pretty dam good. Moving into phase three my coach's daughter got really sick and she kind of left us, she had to fix her life and blance her buisness, so I didnt phase off right. Slowly two years of shoving everything i wanted in my mouth not checking my health it came back.
I just want to set a goal that seems realisitic. When we are older. I am 53, our tissue isint the same, etc, I dont want to have saggy skin. I do weights now and will get back to my jogging. I want to find a weight that i look healthy and feel good. Something that I can be proud to maintain. If I go to low in weight all my wrinkles will show more lol. I have to find that balance what is a good number for me and as well my doctor.
I think everyone has different reasons for their goals. I have a pretty good size chest, even at 17, so me at 130 would be like walking boobs lol

Thank you for sharing Locks! I am 55 and I chose to go with a higher weight myself for the same reason. I went in to the clinic thinking 145 and when the machine spit that number out, i was amazed.
Even if when we reach that goal, maybe we will stay there for a bit....take a break and see if we can maintain for a bit then go back for 10-15 more pounds. We will know what we have to do to go down more....plus it is like a cleaning out of our bodies too.....eatting healthy. All this water is so good for our complexions.....but I still know that mother nature is stronger lol..We have different body types. Some are more lean, some are more curvy, taller, shorter....as long as we are happy and healthy, what more could we ask for right!
Boy I am all physicological today lol Time to go to IGA buy my veggies for the week. Tonight Turkey burgers and grilled veggies.
I'm curious how you derived your goal weight. My coach used a 25% fat from the printout on the machine, but I notice a lot of people on here who are much taller with a lower goal. I know I can change it down the road but I'm curious if everyone starts the same way.
My coach did a print out for me too. She said my bmi was unrealistic, because I'm bigger boned and it would leave me with less then 10% body fat. I want to be fit and healthy. Not skin and bones. It all depends on YOUR body type.
One week at a time.
Long time no see fellow IP people! I got off track for a while, gained 5 pounds back, finally decided -I- am ready to face down the last 30 lbs and meet my goal. I really do think it was a mental thing I had to overcome. Sort of like I wasn't ready to leave the 160's yet.
I digress. I'm back and ready to lose!
Come on lets all get back on track. Stay OP and then we can all just continue to lose the lbs we need and want to. It is really not worth the cheat, and we all know that.
