Miracle Noodles
My coach said these were ok for phase 1 but I have heard conflicting things. I got some samples and thought the miracle rice was gross! Hesitant to even try the noodles until I know for sure if they are allowed. Carb, sugar and dairy free, even 0 calories. All 0's. ANyone??:?:

I've used them with no issues from my coach. Made a nice pasta 'salad' with evoo and green onions / tomatoes for a pot luck

I'd love to know this answer too. Planned to ask my coach about them but haven't had the chance yet. I don't want to do anything that isn't 100% or might slow things down.
- I have only found the miracle noodles online but have seen another kind at my grocery, near the tofu. So, yes ... are they ok and if so, is there a limit on portions or times a week? BTW I will say that I tried cabbage in a stir-fry like dish the other night and it worked shockingly well as a noodle replacement. |
My coach says it's a go! Try the noodles. I usually empty into a strainer-wash off-dry-drop in boiling water for a few mins-strain-dry-add to sauteed veggies and make a sort of 'stir fry'. I use WF asian dressing to give it an even more of a stir fry taste.
The texture is definitly different. I agree on the rice-it's quite odd. I saw a recipe of someone drying it out in a pan and making meatloaf with it! If I can find that one, I post it here. Good luck! |

I have some that I got from my IP clinic. Been hesitant to try so far but my coach says it's fine (for what that's worth)

My coach asked IP and they said no. Only good for phase 4.

shaking my head:
some coaches say yes, others say no. I'd go with the answer from the one who actually took the time to ask IP. My coach often did that when she didn't know an answer. She didn't guess. |
