Oooo...I must head to Target, maybe this weekend! Thanks for the tip

I saw Wal-Mart also had the Pure Protein shakes - chocolate and vanilla - but they were $10/box for 4.

I typically get everything at Costco because I find I can't beat their prices, but every now and again I find a deal somewhere else!! Since my mom couldn't put any "junk food" in my stocking this year for Christmas, she loaded it up with some Simply bars from Pharmaplus. Nice to have some variety.

Ha, ha, great presents, very thoughtful mom! I'll have to have a look for those too - I think there's a Pharmaplus by my doctor's office.

For those of us Canucks who use alternatives, Costco has the Premier protein chocolate RTD 18 packs $6 off. That's $19.99 for 18!
I got some today. Hope I like them!

Shoot, I just bought some last week! The nearest Costco to me is 45 minutes away... Usually when they go on sale I stock up on a few boxes. Might have to send my mom to Costco for me.

Yes, however some recommend only one a day because of the high protein (30g). Up until a few weeks ago I was having two a day plus my restricted, but I cut it back to one a day once I hit 190 lbs. there have been a few lazy days where I still had two, though.

Hello Canadians,

Happy New Year everyone.

I found the Jamieson Slimdown Bars at Walmart for $10.97 for a box of 12, so that's less than a dollar per bar

I have been founding them at around this price for some time now, I always buy a couple of boxes cause they are delicious and you can't beat the price!

All of the flavours are good, but the one in the picture attached is my favorite.

I appreciate all of the research that everyone has done here I've looked through both Canada threads now and wanted to *bump*, since I'm a fellow Canadian, near Peterborough, ON...but I work in Lindsay, ON. I am legitimately on IP and going to my clinic, but I might supplement my options by getting some alternatives, now that I know what to get! TY! I am on a VERY tight budget, and really can only afford the bare minimum 3 boxes of IP stuff per week, so the options with alternatives will be wonderful...and my coach doesn't need to know!

I am in trenton, not too far from you. And my parents have a trailer in Kirkfield that we go to on weekends in the summer.

You will definitely save with alternatives. I have been only using them this time around and have had great success so far. The pure protein bars are still on rollback at walmart for 5.97 for a box of 6. They have been on sale for quite a while so not sure how much longer they will be up.

Also, a couple weekends ago I went to the low carb grocer in Markham and got some new hope mills protein pancake mix. Delicious with some cinnamon added to it and WF maple syrup. It is $5.99 a box, which has 10 servings in it. Plus you get reward points to redeem for money off your total once you have enough saved up. They also sell a lot of bars there but Costco and Walmart have better prices.

I bought this from costco for my shakes, had to order it online as they don’t have it in store. Was $40 for 2 bags of 20 portions each so 1$ a portion. I also use the pure protein bars from costco.

EstroSoy – French Vanilla
Mixes easily and comes in a tasty French Vanilla flavour (It DOES mix easily, just with a spoon)
